Samsung Galaxy S23 Rumors: What We Know So Far

The rumour is true – the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200-megapixel camera, and the designs of all three devices are as previously leaked.

If true, leaked spec sheets for Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series phones provide a comprehensive overview of what to expect from the devices before their official launch on February 1st. The list includes details such as the screens, batteries and cameras included in the phones.

WinFuture has the details of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, confirming information provided by leaker billbil-kun on Twitter, who additionally revealed specifications regarding Samsung’s top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to reports, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 200-megapixel main camera, as well as a 12-megapixel ultrawide and two telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zooms.

The S23 and S23 Plus reportedly have three cameras: a 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra has the biggest screen at 6.8 inches and 1440p resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The S23 and the S23 Plus have slightly smaller OLED displays at 6.1 and 6.6 inches, respectively, with 1080p resolutions and 120Hz refresh rates. Additionally, they all have 12-megapixel selfie cameras built-in, as well as waterproof IP68 ratings.

The inside report indicates that in both Germany and France, at least all three phones will be equipped with Qualcomm’s newest top-tier processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Though Samsung likely use the same processor in the US as past models, it has utilized its own Exynos chipsets on some global markets.

There will also be a selection of 8GB or 12GB of RAM with Ultra and storage offering 256GB, 512B, or 1TB internally. The S23 & S23 Plus only include 8GB of RAM with 128GB & 512 GB of internal storage.

The S23 is equipped with a 3,900mAh battery, while the Plus and Ultra models of this device boast 4,700mAh and 5,000mAh respectively. Additionally, the Plus and Ultra are capable of fast-charging up to 45W, whereas the regular S23 maxes out at 25W.

We already know a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series due to numerous leaks. It’s likely, though, that there will be some surprises when they get announced on February 1st, as was often the case in past launches. Plus, there’s a new laptop too.
